This version supports Canon PowerShot and EOS cameras, it has liveview AVI recording (even in demo without watermarks), interval shooting AVI recording, camera settings profiles and many other new features.
One of the most important improvements this version has is the new WDM capture source driver that is compatible with wider variety of programs, including embedded Adobe Flash (web-based browser videochats, youtube recording).
Also older Canon cameras are supported now on Vista and Windows 7.
